[Ingredients]
100g rice flour
10g tapioca flour
10g cornstarch
1tsp salt
3tbsp corn oil
350ml water
200g char siew - diced
1 stalk scallion - chopped
[Sauce]
4tbsp warm water
3tbsp light soy sauce
2tsp sesame oil
1tbsp sugar
[Steps]
Mix rice flour, tapioca flour and starch in a large mixing bowl. Gradually whisk in water, followed by oil.
Brush tray with a thin layer of oil. Ladle enough batter to form a thin layer on the tray. Steam for 2mins.
Scatter scallion and char siew over and steam for another 2mins.
Sauce: Mix all ingredients together and stir till sugar dissolves.
Remove chee cheong fun from steamer and roll it up. Cut into smaller pieces, place on a serving dish and ladle prepared sauce over.
