Rice Cooker Scallop Rice


Serving size: 3-4pax


[Ingredients]

  • 230g rice grains

  • 220g water

  • 8pcs medium-sized prawns - shelled and deveined

  • 90g pork belly - cut into serving pcs

  • 8pcs fresh scallop

  • Chopped scallion - garnish


[Sauce Mixture]

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1.5 tbsp shaoxing wine (绍兴酒)

  • 0.5 tbsp sugar

  • Pepper


[Steps]

  1. Wash and drain rice grains, add to rice cooker with required amount of water, set to cook.

  2. In a mixing bowl, mix sauce ingredients together, set aside.

  3. At the last 10mins of cooking, add in pork belly, prawns and scallops, and pour sauce mixture over. Let rice cooker resume cooking.

  4. Fluff rice and sprinkle chopped scallions over.
