[Ingredients]
1 piece 300g soft beancurd - cut into 3 x 2cm pieces
1 lightly beaten egg
180g plain/all purpose flour
Cooking oil for deep frying
1 finely sliced spring onion
[Dipping Sauce]
3tbsp light soy sauce
1 clove peeled and minced garlic
1/2tsp sugar
2tsp sesame oil
[Steps]
Place beancurd in a bowl and scald with hot water for 1min. Drain.
Dip each beancurd first in egg then in flour and shake off excess flour.
Deep dry beancurd for 3 to 4mins until golden. Remove from heat and drain.
Sauce. Mix all the ingredients together and put into a small bowl.
Sprinkle spring onion over beancurd and serve with dipping sauce.
