[Ingredients]
100g roughly chopped shelled prawns
200g minced pork
3tbsp finely chopped onion
1tsp peeled and grated fresh ginger
1tbsp sake
1tbsp soy sauce
2tbsp cornstarch
1/2tsp salt
2tbsp frozen mixed vegetable
1tbsp cooking oil
[Sauce]
1tbsp cornstarch
2tbsp water
60ml chicken stock
1tbsp rice vinegar
1tbsp soy sauce
1tbsp sugar
[Steps]
Using your hands, mix all the meat ingredients together except for vege and oil, until meat is sticky. Then, add in vege. Form mixture into small balls.
Place balls in a circle on a microwave-safe plate and drizzle with oil. Turn balls so that they are coated with oil. Loosely cover plate with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 3mins or steam for 8 to 10mins in a steamer lined with parchment paper.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce. Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small pan and mix well. When cornstarch has dissolved, place pan over high heat and cook while stirring.
When sauce has thickened, add meatballs in and toss to coat with sauce. Let cool.
