While googling, I found out that there’s another Cross Cafe outlet at Causeway Bay! The one that sells the super awesome Polo Bun with Black Truffle Scrambled Eggs. Gosh, I went all the way to Sai Ying Pun and climbed that freaking 200m upslope. Went there to takeaway the bun so I could have it on my way to the next location, Golden Cup Specialty Coffee. They do serve their espresso in a golden cup! It is quiet here and near to the tram station, a good place to wind down and enjoy a good cup of coffee. Next, I went to Cafe Seasons which is nearby. This place serves good authentic local food. I had the Tomato and Beef Macaroni Soup with Toast and Scrambled Eggs set. This is too much for 1 person! Great for sharing amongst adult and child, or 2 small eaters. The food is not exactly amazing, but it is comforting. Simple food with great flavours!

Next, I moved on to Wan Chai. The Lee Tung Street area is so pretty! All things pretty can be found here. Went to the Calbee+ store, all the yummy exclusive Calbee snacks, as well as popular Hong Kong snacks. This trip I have been trying to find Cream Collon, Cheesecake flavour, as I managed to find the rest, but to no results. Over here, I found Onion Milk flavour and it was the last box! At the same area, I also went to Givres which sells rose-shaped gelato. Got the White Peach and Mango flavours, which is light pink and golden yellow in colour. Can’t decide which flavours to get as I want to try the special flavours, but also have nice contrasting colours.

Across the street is another Michelin recommended place, Kam’s Roast Goose. Queued for 40mins, even though it’s just 1pax. Usually I get seats pretty quickly as I’m alone. The food was a huge disappointment and the staff here are so rude! I wonder how do there even get the recommendation? All the Michelin recommended places that I went really do taste amazing, but not this place. It is also very expensive, HK$53 for Roast Goose Duck with Rice. Just a Roast Goose thigh is like HK$90! I don’t mind paying if the food is good, but this place is a waste of my time and stomach space. I could had had something better at another place! Totally DO NOT recommend this place. DO NOT. Besides, it was not a conducive dining place and experience too.

Went back to my hotel to get my luggage and headed to IFC Mall. This is where you board the airport express train. Was still quite early, so I went to Lady M to try their Rose Mille Crepes. Apparently if I am not wrong, this flavour is only available in Hong Kong! I have never tried Lady M’s cakes before as they are more costly than usual cakes. So glad I did as it was so good! I almost wanted to had a 2nd slice, but hmm shall watch my calorie intake. Lastly, before I leave to the airport, went to % Arabica again for their coffee! Amongst all the coffees that I’ve tried during this trip, don’t even remember how many cafes I went, theirs was the best! Plus, their baristas are all so good looking and stylish!

Sharing with you what snacks I got, some are sold exclusively in Hong Kong only.
[From top, left to right]
Cream Collon Onion Milk flavour, HK$15. Got this from the Calbee+ store. It tasted normal, don't really have any onion taste.
Cream Collon Mango Pudding flavour, HK$82 (6 boxes). Got this at the airport's 7-11 when I saw it as I didn't know where else I could get it. Saw it selling at the basement supermarket of SOGO department, as well as the Calbee+ store. A Hong Kong exclusive flavour. The biscuit is the same regardless of the flavour, the cream was amazing! It has a nice mango, tangy scent and it does reminds you of mango pudding or the mango sago pomelo dessert (杨枝甘露). People who doesn't like the natural sweet-sour taste of mango, might not like this snack as it does get a little too sour in taste after you finish the packet.
Cream Collon Egg Tart flavour, HK$82 (6 boxes). Got this together with the mango pudding flavour. This has a nice caramel scent to it. The cream has a mild eggy and caramel taste to it, but it does not really remind you of egg tarts. But, it still taste really good overall!
Mentos Matcha flavour, HK$6.50. I wasn't quite keen on trying this. My brave 5yr old nephew was so excited to try it and convinced me that it tasted great! And yes, it tasted like matcha pocky.
Pretz Shark's Fin flavour, HK$89.90 (12 boxes). Another Hong Kong exclusive flavour. They have abalone and seafood flavours as well, which are also Hong Kong exclusive flavours. Definitely no shark's fin taste hahaha. It tasted like usual Pretz, salty with a fishy taste.
Three Colour Hokkaido Potato Sticks, HK$39 (8pkts). Not a Hong Kong snack, but Japanese snacks are always so cool and yummy!
[From top, left to right]
Imperial Big Meal Beef flavour, HK$18.90. My friend gave me Yi Du Zan (一度赞) beef noodles when she got back from Taiwan and it was amazing! Imperial Big Meal is their competitor, both are Taiwan brand. Saw great reviews of Imperial Big Meal online and thought I should try it! The braised beef was amazing, it will blow your mind! But the noodles aren't that great, so I will prefer Yi Du Zan more.
Nissin Satay flavour, HK$8.80. Hong Kong's satay flavour taste totally different from Singapore's satay sauce, which I thought they were the same. Can't really make up how their satay flavour taste like, but this noodle flavour is not recommended.
Doll Fried Noodle Hotplate Black Pepper Beef flavour, HK$5.95. A dry instant noodles. This was amazing too! Thought that packet of mayonnaise was way too little.
Black & White Evapourated Milk (mini can), HK$8.90. In Singapore, this best brand of evapourated milk is Carnation, while in Hong Kong, it's Black & White. Almost all cha chaan teng and restaurant uses this brand for their drinks! The condensed milk is sold as the standard can size, while the evapourated milk is available in mini can, 1L packet and as mini capsules.
Black & White Evapourated Milk Capsules, HK$17.90 (12pcs).
Frutips Lychee flavour, HK$12.50. This is twice the size of the usual packaging, never seen lychee flavour sold anywhere else.
[From top, left to right]
Pretz Blueberry Cheese double flavour, HK$6 (2pkts). A nice cheese Pretz with a slightly sour blueberry chocolate coating.
Pretz Matcha Vanilla double flavour, HK$6 (2pkts). A nice matcha Pretz with vanilla chocolate coating.
Pretz Sweet Potato flavour, HK$10.90 (2pkts). This has a little sweet potato taste with sugar on it.
Pretz Crunchy Cheese, HK$12.90 (2pkts). A cheesy Pretz!
Pocky Matcha Mousse, HK$10 (2pkts). Pocky with thick matcha chocolate coating! Strong matcha taste with slight bitterness.
Pocky Mango Mousse, HK$10 (2pkts). Pocky with thick mango chocolate coating! Strong mango taste. It does not taste sour, unlike the Cream Collon version.
