[Ingredients]
1L whipping cream
1 vanilla bean - split, scraped
1 cup sugar + extra
6 large egg yolks
[Steps]
Preheat oven 150dgeC.
In a saucepan, add in cream, vanilla seeds and vanilla bean. Stir well and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and let sit for 15mins.
In a large mixing bowl, add in yolks and sugar. Whisk till thick and pale.
While whisking, gradually add in cream.
Pour liquid into 7 ramekins. Place ramekins in a roasting tin and fill tin with hot water. Bake for 45mins.
Remove from over and let cool to room temp, then chill for 4hrs.
