[Ingredients]
10 large prawns
2tsp salt
1tsp pepper
1/2 egg - beaten
1tbsp plain flour
1tbsp cornstarch
1tbsp sugar
20 curry leaves
4 chilli padi - chopped
50g unsalted butter
1cup cereal
1tsp chicken powder
1tbsp milk powder
[Steps]
Clean and cut prawns, trim legs and devein prawns.
Place prawns in a large mixing bowl and add in egg, coat well. Followed by 1tsp salt, pepper, flour and starch, mixing well at each addition.
Deep-fry in oil at 170degC for 2-3mins. Drain and set aside.
Mix cereal, milk powder, sugar, 1tsp salt and chicken powder together.
Melt butter in frying pan. Add in curry leaves and chilli padi, stir well. Followed by cereal mixture, stir well.
Add in prepared prawns and mix well.
