[Ingredients]
180g sirloin steak - cubed
20g onions - finely sliced
2 cloves of garlic - chopped
25g tomato paste
20ml oil
15g ground paprika
10g flour
25ml red wine
100ml beef stock
Salt and pepper
[Steps]
Preheat oven 175degC.
Season beef with salt and pepper. Coat well with flour.
Pan fry beef over high heat and drain on paper towels.
In a heat-proof pot, add in oil, sweat onions and garlic.
Add in beef and stir well. Add in tomato paste, followed by red wine - deglaze.
Add in stock, bring to boil. Cover pot with foil and let simmer in the oven for 30mins.
Remove pot from oven, sprinkle in paprika and continue to cook it in the oven until desire doneness.
