Roast Chicken

[Ingredients]

  • 1 whole spring chicken (800g)

  • 30ml oil

  • 1tbsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 thickly sliced yellow onion

[Steps]

  1. Preheat oven 200degC.

  2. Wash chicken, pat dry. Truss chicken.

  3. In a mixing bowl, add in oil, paprika, salt and pepper. Mix well. Rub marinade all over chicken and pan-fry chicken until browned.

  4. Line onions on baking pan and sit chicken on it. Roast for 45mins or until chicken is cooked - there should not be any blood oozing out when poked.
