[Ingredients]
400g chicken - deboned from drumsticks
Soften using cleaver then cut into strips
[Marinade]
3/4tsp sea salt
3/4tsp raw sugar
3/4tsp sesame oil
1 small beaten egg
[Coating]
6tbsp sifted self raising flour
OR 3tbsp rice flour + 3tbsp corn starch
[Sauce]
6tbsp honey
2tbsp sour plum sauce
6tbsp lemon juice
1tbsp Heinz white vinegar
[Steps]
Rinse chicken with hot water and drain dry.
Marinate chicken for 1hr, covered in the fridge.
Pour beaten egg over chicken and roll chicken in coating.
Heat up 1 1/2 cup oil in a wok and cook chicken until they are lightly brown. Drain on kitchen towels.
Sauce. Mix all the ingredients together and pour into a saucepan.
Heat sauce over medium fire. Once it starts to boil, remove from heat and pour over chicken.
Garnish with lemon slices.
