Three Cup Chicken


[Ingredients]

  • 200g chicken - cut into pieces

  • 1tbsp dark soy sauce

  • 1tbsp sesame oil + extra

  • 1tbsp hua diao wine

  • 3 garlic cloves - peeled, chopped

  • Handful of basil leaves

  • Cornstarch + water


[Steps]

  1. Mix chicken, soy sauce, sesame oil and hua diao wine together. Chill for 30mins.

  2. Heat up some sesame oil in pan, stir-fry garlic till fragrant.

  3. Add in chicken and stir-fry for a few mins till cooked.

  4. Gradually mix in cornstarch solution and keep stirring till liquid thickens.

  5. Lastly, add in basil leaves and give it a quick toss.
