Spicy Dumplings 红油抄手


- 50g chilli flakes

- 50g Szechuan peppercorn

- 1 cinnamon stick

- 2 star anise

- 350ml peanut oil

- 2tbsp white sesame seed


[Steps] 1. Place peppercorn and chilli flakes in a blended and blend till fine.

2. Stir-fry blended spice mix in a preheated pan with cinnamon, star anise and sesame seeds till fragrant.

3. Add in peanut oil and continue to cook on very low heat for 12-15mins, till the oil turns golden red.

4. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
