Sambal Seafood with Edamame

[Ingredients]

  • 1tbsp cooking oil

  • 1tsp chopped garlic

  • 4-5pcs prawns - deshelled, deveined, soak them in water with some salt and baking soda for 30mins, then rinse off

  • 1 squid - cleaned, cut into rings

  • 1/2 red onion - peeled, sliced

  • Some edamame - blanched

  • 2tbsp sambal chilli paste

  • 3-4tbsp water

  • 1/2tsp sugar

  • Pinch of salt


[Steps]

  1. Heat pan with oil. Saute garlic and onion till fragrant.

  2. Reduce heat to low. Add in sambal and water, mix well.

  3. Increase the heat, add in prawns and squid, followed by sugar and salt.

  4. Lastly, add in edamame and give it a quick toss.
