Pumpkin and Corn Soup


[Ingredients] - 2 chicken bone / 1 whole chicken leg, chopped

- 3 ginger slices

- 6-8 large ikan bilis

- 1 sweet corn, cut into pieces

- 200g pumpkin, peeled and cut into pieces

- 1 carrot, peeled and cut into pieces

- 1/2tsp salt

- 1/2tsp sugar

- 1/4 cube chicken seasoning


[Steps] 1. Par-boil chicken and drain off. Add in 800ml fresh water, ginger and ikan bilis, bring to a boil. Then let simmer for 25-30mins.

2. Add in carrot, corn, salt, sugar and chicken seasoning. Mix well and let simmer for 15mins.

3. Put in pumpkin and let simmer for another 5-10mins, till everything is cooked and soft.
