[Ingredients]
120g salmon, cut into smaller pieces
4-5 large clams
2 tiger prawns, peeled and deveined
1 medium onion, peeled and cubed
2 medium potato, peeled and cubed
3 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
1tbsp + 1tsp unsalted butter
2tsp flour
200ml fish / vegetable stock
250ml fresh milk
1 bay leaf
1 sprig fresh thyme
Salt
Black pepper
Sugar
Bacon bits - garnish
Fresh parsley, chopped - garnish
[Steps]
In a soup pot, add in 1tbsp butter, onion and garlic. Saute over medium low heat.
When onions are soft, add in potatoes and cook for 4-5mins.
Add in butter, and when it has melted, mix in flour. Stir well.
Add in stock and milk, bring to a simmer.
Followed by seafood, bay leaf and thyme. Let simmer till seafood is just cooked through, do not like it boil.
Remove bay leaf and thyme. Add in seasoning and sprinkle bacon bits and parsley over.
