[Ingredients]
5 garlic cloves - unpeeled, crushed
1 stalk scallion - cut into lengths, separate white and green parts
1 small portion of ginger - peeled, sliced
10 chicken mid-joints
1tbsp light soy sauce
2tbsp dark soy sauce
2tbsp sesame oil
2tbsp hua diao wine
Ground white pepper
1/2cup water
Cornstarch solution - 2tbsp starch + 5tbsp water
[Steps]
Heat some oil in a pan.
Add in garlic, white parts of scallion and ginger slices, stir-fry till fragrant.
Add in chicken and mix well, followed by all the seasoning.
Mix well, then pour in water and bring to a boil. Then let simmer for 10mins.
Add in starch solution and mix well, cook till liquid thickens.
