[Ingredients]
250g nian gao - slice into serving pieces
1 egg
4tbsp plain flour
1tbsp rice flour
Pinch of salt
1/2tsp baking powder
2-3tbsp ice water
[Steps]
Mix both flours, baking powder and salt together.
Crack in the egg and add in the ice water, whisk well till batter is smooth.
Coat nian gao in the batter and pan-fry at low heat with some oil till golden brown on both sides.
