[Ingredients]
800g pork ribs - cut into pcs
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp fish sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
100g Marigold-brand Dawn sweetened beverage creamer
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 egg white
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp shaoxing wine
[Coating]
2 tbsp cornstarch
8 tbsp potato starch
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
[Glazing Sauce]
50g salted butter
2pcs red chilli - sliced
80g Marigold-brand Dawn sweetened beverage creamer
50ml Marigold-brand King of Kings full cream evapourated milk
3 tbsp minced garlic - fried, garnish
[Steps]
In a mixing bowl, add in ribs and remaining ingredients. Mix well and let marinate at least 1.5hrs.
Mix coating ingredients together. Coat pork with starch mixture and set aside.
Heat up a pot of oil and deep-fry pork till light golden. Drain and set aside.
Then, fry pork for a 2nd time till golden brown. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, add in butter. Let melt and add in chilli, stir-fry till fragrant.
Add in creamer and evapourated milk, mix well and bring to a boil till sauce thickens.
Add in fried pork and mix well.
Garnish with fried garlic.
