Banana Bread



[Ingredients]

- 2-3 very ripe bananas, peeled

- 1/3 cup butter, melted

- 1tsp baking soda

- Pinch of salt

- 3/4 cup sugar (1/2 cup for less sweet, 1 cup for more sweet)

- 1 egg, beaten

- 1tsp vanilla essence

- 1.5 cup all-purpose flour


[Steps]

1. Preheat oven 175degC. Grease a 4 x 8inch loaf pan.

2. In a mixing bowl, mash bananas using a fork until smooth. Add in melted butter and mix well.

3. Add in baking soda and salt, mix well. Followed by sugar, egg and vanilla essence, mix well.

4. Fold in flour. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 50mins or until an inserted skewer comes out clean.

5. When done, allow to cool in pan for a while, then remove from pan and allow to cool comple
