Apple Cheddar Grilled Sandwich

[Ingredients]

  • 2 slices wholemeal bread (about 75g) - alternative: wholemeal tortilla

  • 1.5tsp coconut oil (about 10g) - alternative: butter

  • 50g sliced cheddar - alternative: mozzarella

  • 1 red apple (about 150g) - alternative: pear

  • Optional: 0.5tsp mustard (about 5g)


[Steps]

  1. Heat pan to medium-high, add oil.

  2. Rinse apple and slice into thin slices.

  3. Spread mustard on bread then add cheese and apple slices. Place the other slice of bread over, making into a sandwich.

  4. Place sandwich in pan and cook both sides till cheese has melted.
