[Ingredients]
1pkt dumpling wrapper - white, square
250g minced pork
100g prawn, peeled and chopped
100g water chestnut, peeled and chopped
2tbsp light soy sauce
1/2tsp salt
1/2tsp sugar
1tsp white pepper powder
1tbsp Hua Diao Jiu
1tbsp sesame oil
1/2 cup chopped scallions
10g grated ginger
[Sauce]
5tbsp chilli oil
2tbsp sesame oil
2tbsp light soy sauce
3tbsp black vinegar
[Sauce]
In a large bowl, add in all filling ingredients and mix well.
Take a piece of wrapper, wet the edges with water (the water acts as an adhesive).
Place 1tsp of filling in the center. Fold half diagonally across, forming a triangle. Then bring the 2 corners at the side together. Repeat till done.
Boil dumplings for 10mins till they start to float.
Drain and place them in a dish.
Mix sauce ingredients together and pour over the dumplings.
