#SeoulFun Day 8: Petite France

The one and only planned activity for today was Petite France. Petite France is a small French-theme park located at Nami Island. It takes about 2-3hrs to reach there from Seoul via public transport. I got the Jajang La-beokki that I have always been wanting to try since day 1, from the convenience store at our place before we board the train. It is basically ramen (Korean cup noodles) + tteokbokki (Korean rice cakes) in Jajangmyeon (black bean minced meat noodles) sauce. Omg, total regrets~

Gapyeong City Tour bus ride from Gapyeong Station: KRW6,000

www.pfcamp.com From Seoul to Petite France From where we stayed (Dongdaemun), we took a subway to Sinyongsan Station. Walk to Yongsan Station and from there, take an ITX to Gapyeong Station. We went to the wrong platform and continued on subway to Cheongyanni Station. So we took the ITX at Cheongyanni Station instead to Gapyeong Station, and it cost KRW4,000. At Gapyeong Station, took the Gapyeong City Tour bus to Petite France. It cost KRW6,000 and is a 40mins ride. Petite France is such a pretty place! Like you anyhow take, the photos will still turn out to be nice! Went round to take lots of photos, and that was all that we did there. Disappointed that it kept raining today! 👎🏻

From Petite France to Seoul

To get back to Seoul, we continued on the bus of the same route to Cheongpyeong Station, instead of going back to Gapyeong Station, so we would not have to pay for the bus again. From Cheongpyeong Station, we just took various subways to get back to Seoul.

From there, we went to Lotte Department Store and Myeongdong for some last minute shopping. Happy to find and get everything that we did not managed to previously! On our way to Myeongdong, I had Manjoo and Lotteria's Bulgogi Burger. Manjoo is highly recommended! It is mini custard cake (like mini Taiyakis), really affordable and a great warm snack! Lotteria's Bulgogi Burger is really good as well. Sesame bun with a bulgogi patty, some savoury sauce, lettuce, onions and mayonnaise. Mmmm... 😋

I had Minion cup noodles of spicy cheese flavour, with crabsticks stuffed with cheese and seaweed, bought at the convenience store. It is really good as well! And to my surprise, there are Minion fishcakes inside too! Gonna buy a few more to bring back~ In Singapore, character noodles like this sells up to SGD4-5, and this is sold only at KRW1,500.
