Chicken Meatballs


[Ingredients]

  • 500g minced chicken

  • 2tsp finely chopped kaffir lime leaves

  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 2tbsp finely grated ginger

  • 80ml oyster sauce

  • 1tbsp peanut oil

  • 125ml water

  • Toasted sesame seeds

[Steps]

  1. Place chicken, kaffir, panko, ginger and half the amount of oyster sauce into a large mixing bowl. Mix well.

  2. Roll tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls.

  3. Heat oil in a large non-stick pan over high heat.

  4. Add in meatballs and cook, turning, for 6-8mins until golden brown.

  5. Add in water and remaining oyster sauce and cook for another 2-3mins until slightly reduced and sticky.

  6. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
