[Ingredients]
2kg beef ribs
45g salted black beans
375ml water
2 bulbs of garlic - halved horizontally
1tbsp grated ginger
90g brown sugar
90ml honey
1 long red chilli - halved
[Steps]
Place ribs in a large saucepan of water over high heat, covered and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and cook for 1hr till ribs are tender. Drain.
Preheat oven 200degC.
Place ribs and all ingredients in a large deep roasting pan. Cover with foil and cook for 45mins.
Remove foil and turn ribs. Cook uncovered for another 30mins till sticky and glossy.
Serve immediately.
