[Ingredients]
1 2/3 cup popcorn kernels
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
[Steps]
Place 1/3 cup of kernels into each paper bag. Fold the opening a few times to prevent the popcorn from popping out from the bag.
Microwave one bag at a time for 1 1/2min on high.
When one bag is done, place the ready popcorn on a bowl. Give it a shake to let the unpopped kernels fall to the bottom. Transfer the popped kernels onto another bowl and place the unpopped ones back into the paper bag for popping.
Repeat this for every bag until almost all the kernels are popped.
In a large pan, combine butter, brown sugar and light corn syrup until melted and comes to a boil.
Reduce to low heat and add condensed milk. Stir for 5mins. The longer you stir, the firmer the caramel will be.
Pour caramel over popcorn and stir until incorporated.
Add in nuts, M&Ms, pretzel bits or chocolate chips for extra fun!
