4 Room Temp Egg Whites
1/2tsp Cream of Tartar
1 Cup Sugar
1tsp Vanilla Essence
Green Food Colouring
Star/snowflake sprinkles
[Steps]
Preheat oven 110degC.
Whisk whites on medium speed until frothy. Add in cream of tartar and whisk until soft peaks formed.
Increase speed to medium-high. Add in sugar, 1tbsp at a time, beating until sugar is dissolved and stiff peaks formed.
Whisk in essence and food colouring. Place meringue in a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip. Slowly pipe out (onto parchment paper lined baking tray) in a circle then continuously make smaller circles working your way up.
Place a piece of sprinkle at the peak.
Bake for 45mins. Turn oven heat off and let meringues stand in oven for 1hr or until completely cooled.
