[Ingredients]
60g dark (semi-sweet) chocolate chips
110g plain flour
110g soft unsalted butter
55g caster sugar
30g custard powder
1tsp vanilla essence
Orange zest (grated).
[Steps]
Preheat oven 180 degC.
Place the butter, vanilla essence and zest into a mixing bowl.
Sift flour, sugar and custard powder into the same bowl and beat until thoroughly mixed.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Spoon out the mixture one at a time and roll into small balls. Place the balls onto a baking tray and flatten. Bake in the oven for 25mins or until cooked.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool on a wire cooling rack.
