[Ingredients]
50g softened butter
50g sugar
15g honey
1 egg
90ml milk
140g cake flour
5g cornstarch
15g unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
3g baking powder
[Ganache]
50g dark chocolate
50ml whipping cream
[Steps]
Whisk butter till loosen. Add in sugar and honey, whisk until pale and creamy.
Beat egg and add in, whisk.
Sift flour, starch, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder. Fold half the amount into the mixture, followed by milk, and then the other half of the dry ingredients.
Transfer batter into a piping bag fitted with a round tip.
Pipe batter into a mini donut mould pan and bake in a preheated oven of 170-180degC for 25-30mins. Let cool completely on wire rack.
Ganache: Place cream in a saucepan and heat till boiled.
Break chocolate into pieces and microwave till melted. Pour warmed cream in and mix well.
When donuts have cooled, dip one side of the donut into ganache and place them back on rack to dry.
