[Ingredients]
275g bread flour (sifted)
30g butter
65g dark chocolate (finely chopped)
Pinch of salt
1/2 sachet dried yeast
120ml water
1/2 tsp honey
[Steps]
Take all the ingredients except water and chocolate and mix together in a large bowl. Once mixed, pour in the warm water and mix until a dough is formed.
Once mixed, pour in the warm water and mix until a dough is formed.
Turn out onto a lightly floured worktop and knead for approx 10mins, or until it springs back.
Push the chopped chocolate into the dough, spreading it evenly throughout.
Mould the dough into a loaf baking tin and brush with egg or milk. Cover with a damp tea towel and leave in a warm place until the dough has doubled in size.
While waiting, preheat oven 220 degC.
Bake for 20 - 30mins until golden in colour. Leave to cool for a short while and turn it out on a cooling rack. To test if the bread is cooked, tap the bottom of the bread, it should sound hollow if cooked.
