11:30am: Yayoi Kusama Museum 草間彌生美術館
A contemporary art museum dedicated to the work of Japanese artist, Yayoi Kusama.
2pm: Starbucks Reserve Roastery スターバックスリザーブロースタリー
This Starbucks roastery is the 5th to build and currently the world’s largest Starbucks, overtaking Shanghai Reserve Roastery in terms of size. It houses Starbucks’s largest Teavana tea bar and its first dedicated community space for events.
2:30pm: Oiwake Dango Honpo 追分だんご本舗
It may look like a sweets shop from the outside, but the shop do have a small dining area as well. Though people usually go for their dango and kakigori, they do offer other items as well.
3:30pm: Mutekiya 無敵家
4:30pm: Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden 新宿御苑
It used to be the site of the Naito family’s residence during the Edo period.
5:30pm: Alfred Tea Room
A popular BBT cafe decked in pink from LA. Other than a range of teas, they offer pastries and desserts too.
7pm: Kura Sushi くら寿司
What’s special about Kura is you can exchange your sushi plates for free capsule toys! If you have been to Japan, you will know they do not lack capsule machines! For every 5 plates, you are entitled to a play on the capsule machine. Other than this, Kura’s sushi is also very affordable, at about ¥100/plate.
