10am: Ameyoko Shopping Street アメ屋横丁
Ameyoko is an affordable long market street with stores selling food and items like clothes, sneakers, fruits and vegetables, seafood and sweets. It is much livelier in the evening as shoppers seek discount items and most stores close by 9pm.
11am: Tokyo National Museum 東京国立博物館
The Tokyo National Museum is Japan’s largest art museum and oldest national museum. It is one of the four museums operated by National Institutes for Cultural Heritage. The museum collects, preserves and displays a comprehensive collection of artwork and cultural objects from Asia, focusing on ancient and medieval Japanese and Asian art along Silk Road.
1:30pm: Rinrin りんりん
Probably the cheapest ramen in Tokyo at just ¥330!
3pm: Nezu Shrine 根津神社
A shinto shrine that was established in 1705 and is one of Japan's oldest shrines. Nezu Shrine has a torii gate tunnel.
5pm: Chachanoma 茶茶の間
6pm: Maisen Tonkatsu とんかつ まい泉
Maisen Tonkatsu is one of the best tonkatsu places in Tokyo! Maisen has been serving tonkatsu since 1965, in a former World War II public bathhouse.
