[Virtual Travel Sydney Day 7

10:30am: Brunch at Celsius Coffee Co

A lovely rustic-looking cafe set on a ferry wharf - grab a window seat if you can and enjoy the beautiful harbour while you dine.

12pm: Wendy Whiteley's Secret Garden

Everybody needs a secret garden and welcome to Wendy Whiteley’s secret garden, created by Wendy Whiteley herself over the past 20yrs. The garden is free and is open to the public daily. Wendy and her husband, Brett Whiteley, moved to Lavender Bay in 1970 and found this area by accident. After Brett died in 1992, Wendy threw herself into restoring the rubbish-filled valley underneath her house. In 2015, the beautiful green space finally got the seal of approval and became a public park.

2pm: Paddy's Market

There’s two Paddy’s Market in Sydney, one at Flemington and the other at Haymarket. The one at Flemington specialises in fruits, vegetables, seafood, clothes and giftware. We are going to the one at Haymarket which operates more like a flea market. It is a great place to get affordable items and souvenirs. They do have a small section for fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood as well.

4pm: Donut Papi

Love donuts? Pop by Donut Papi for some! Donut Papi is a Phillippino inspired donut shop that does Asian and Phillippino inspired flavours like pandan, matcha and ube (purple yam). Other than oozy donuts, they also do other desserts like biscoff cheesecake.

6pm: Bondi Beach, Dinner at Porch and Parlour

Bondi Beach is arguably one of Australia’s top beaches. The word “bondi” is an Aboriginal word which has the same meaning as “surf” in English. There are a couple of dining options at the beach, one of it being Porch and Parlour. It started out as an idea to combine good food and coffee with art, music and people.
