It is Korea’s first successful attempt in creating an urban space where people and nature coexist, and is one of the popular spots for autumn foliage.

Seoullo 7017 is one of the elevated highway that gets repurpose into a pedestrian green space. “70” represents the year the flyover was built, in 1970. “17” represents both the number of walkways connected to it, and the year Seoullo 7017 was built, in 2017.
