Woke up a little late today. Have been popping in to almost every GS25 store to look for LINE Friends western soup cups that were launched last December for the cold weather, and finally found it! There were 3 flavours and it is now 2+1 sale! Love it that Korea always have 1+1, 2+1 and even 1+2 sales every now and then! Brown design is corn soup, Cony design is cream of mushroom, and Sally design is broccoli and cheddar.
今天有点迟起身。天天只要一看到 GS25 就会进去看看，想找 GS25 12月推出的 LINE 系列西式热汤，今天终于找到了！有3种口味，而且现在还促销2+1！喜欢韩国的一点是他们每次都在做促销 - 1+1，2+1，幸运的话还有 1+2！Brown 设计的是玉米汤，Cony 设计的是蘑菇奶油汤，最后是 Sally，是西兰花乳酪汤。
#1: LINE Friends Soup Cups, KRW1,900 each.
First of all, went to Idaejo Ppyeodagwi for some Pork Ribs Soup, Haejangguk. This store operates 24hrs and only sells pork ribs soup. Upon arriving, I could see that the store was continuously filled with Koreans! They have individual pork ribs soup, as well as large pots for sharing, in 3 sizes, either Gamjatang (with potatoes) or Deungppyeojjim (with soy sauce). Most of the people just go for the individual pots, so you don’t have to worry that you can’t order in Korean, just let them know how many pax and they will serve up the food. This place, however, is a traditional dining concept, so you do have to remove your footwear and it is ground seats. People with knee joint problems, you might want to consider doing a takeout instead. The ribs were so so tender! You can easily remove the meat from the bones with your chopsticks, great for little kids too! But, the soup can be a little bit spicy.
首先到了 Idaejo Ppyeodagwi 喝点排骨汤 - Haejangguk。这家店24小时营业，只卖排骨汤。抵达时，整家店都是满满的韩国人！他们有卖一人份的排骨汤，也有大锅份，分小，中，大。大锅份可以点 Gamjatang（加了马铃薯）或 Deungppyeojjim（加了酱油）。不过，大多数的客人都是点一人锅。不会用韩文点餐，来这里没压力。店员只问用餐人数，就会马上把食物端出来。排骨汤真的真的好好喝！排骨超超超赞，肉很嫩！用筷子就能轻易把肉夹起，不会粘在骨上。很适合小朋友吃，不过，汤可能会有点辣。可是有一点我不喜欢的是这里是传统用餐概念，也就是坐地用餐 - 必须脱鞋子。有膝盖疼痛问题的朋友们，可能需要外带。

Next, was to Nocturne No.5, a gelato store. Nocturne No.5 specialises in matcha gelato with 6 levels of intensity, as well as gelato in other flavours. I tried Level 3 and 4, and went for Level 3. Level 4 is way too bitter for me! However, Level 3 does get a little too bitter for me towards the end. I guess Level 2 will be a comfortable intensity level with a strong matcha taste. Gosh, who’s brave enough to order No. 6 (sold as No. 5+)? Then to Zapangi, the popular cafe that has a pink vending machine concept as their door. Other than the photogenic store front, they are also popular for their mermaid series of drinks and desserts. Other items are equally pretty too! They have started to sell crepes, so I decided to get the Mermaid Crepe, which consists of a filling of custard cream, strawberries, blueberries, strawberry jam and blueberry jam, topped with whipped cream in pastel colours of blue, pink and purple!
接下来，是到 Nocturne No.5，是间意式冰淇淋店。他们专卖6层浓郁度的抹茶冰淇淋，也有其他口味的冰淇淋。试吃了3和4号抹茶，决定点3号。4号对我来说太苦了！不过其实，3号吃到最后也是开始变得有点太苦。所以其实点2号就够浓了。天啊，谁会点6号啊？然后到了一间很受欢迎的咖啡厅，叫 Zapangi。大家应该对这间不陌生，就是有台粉红色的假贩卖机为店门的那家咖啡厅。除了咖啡厅外面是个很受欢迎的拍照景点以外，本店的漂亮美人鱼系列的甜点和饮料也很受欢迎，其他食品也很漂亮！现在开始卖起法式煎饼，所以决定点美人鱼煎饼 - 内陷是卡仕达酱，草莓，蓝莓，草莓果酱和蓝莓果酱。卷起来后，加上了粉蓝，粉红和粉紫的奶油，好漂亮！

Then to Ewha street! I actually wanted to visit the Ewha Woman’s University Museum, which is a cultural heritage museum that showcases items related to folk art, traditional woodwork and pottery; but it was close to closing time when I arrived. Decided to go round Ewha Woman’s University instead to take some photos. The trees and plants around the school were still in pretty shades of autumn colours! And while everybody were busy taking photos, it started to SNOW! Though it was a light snowfall, but it was my first snow experience! Like what I expected, snow is actually frozen rain. Because the weather is so cold, instead of water that is falling, it is snowflakes - clusters of ice - instead. By the time it touches you or the ground, it melts into water. It was about -2degC, so it wasn’t cold enough for the snow to not melt and accumulate. Along Ewha street, I chanced upon this store called ‘Kos Market’, that sells the famous Tom’s Farm Almonds in a variety of flavours and packaging, as well as many other Korean snacks and cute stationeries. If you are a fan of Tom’s Farm Almond, this is probably a great place to shop as it offers probably ALL the flavours! There were definitely the original flavour, which is Honey Butter, as well as Honey Butter Cashew and Honey Butter Macadamia. Other flavours include banana, mango banana, peach, laver (seaweed), wasabi, sweet red bean, yogurt (Korean yakult), strawberry, caramel with pretzels, hot and spicy chicken (probably invented because of the popular Samyang hot chicken flavour noodles); and chocolate coated ones which includes tiramisu, cookies and cream, and starlight pang pang (???) - from what I googled, it seems like they were with popping candies. If you have not tried Tom’s Farm Almond series and are not sure which flavour(s) to get, you can get the 30g packaging to try first, they are just KRW1,000 each!
接下来，去了梨花！原本是想去梨花女子大学博物馆，是间历史文化博物馆，展示与民间艺术，传统木制品和陶瓷有关的展示品。不过抵达时，已经快接近关门时间，所以决定在大学附近走走看看，拍些照。大学内的花草树木还是漂亮的秋季色！在大家忙着拍照的当儿，开始下雪了！虽然只是微微的小雪，不过能体验到雪花就开心了！就有如我所料，雪花就是结了冰的雨水。因为天气太冷的关系，所以落下来的是冰（也就是雪花）而不是水。因为是小雪，当他接触到你或地面时，即时融化成水。天气只是负2度，所以可能还不过冷让雪花不融化。在梨花街时，经过了一间叫 Kos Market 的店，售卖各种口味和包装的 Tom’s Farm Almonds，以及其他韩式零食和一些可爱的文具。如果是 Tom’s Farm Almonds 粉丝的话，可以来这里购买，应该是可以买到所有的口味。有原味，也就是蜂蜜黄油，也有蜂蜜黄油腰果和蜂蜜黄油澳洲坚果。其他口味包括香蕉，芒果香蕉，蜜桃，紫菜，瓦萨比，红豆，优格（韩式养乐多），草莓，焦糖与椒盐脆饼，辣鸡（应该是因三养辣鸡面大受欢迎而推出的吧）；和裹上巧克力的口味有提拉米苏，奥利奥和 starlight pang pang（这是什么啊？）。如果没试过 Tom’s Farm Almond 系列，又不知道该买哪个口味好，可以先买30克包装的来试试，只卖韩币1,000！

Went to Mashi China for dinner, which was said to serve up one of the BEST Jjajangmyeon in Seoul! Wanted to take a look and see if they have anything else that looks good, but they do not have a English menu, so went with Jjajangmyeon as planned. After which, went to Bistopping for some ice cream! It is very cold now but it is still okay to have ice cream! As the indoors can be really warm that you totally forgot it is actually winter! Bistopping offers soft serve in 3 basic flavours - milk, yogurt or chocolate - and the fun part is decorating your ice cream! There are many designed cones in various colours and additional decorating items like cookies and chocolates. I got the milk soft serve with the word ‘Korea’, a cactus cookie, and with a matching cone. The ice cream started melting way too fast that I didn’t really have much chance to take a few more shots!
然后到了 Mashi China 用晚餐，听说这里的韩式炸酱面是选首尔最好吃的！其实想看看有什么其他好吃的可点，不过，只有韩文菜单，所以就只能点炸酱面。接着到了 Bistopping 吃点冰淇淋！店内非常的温暖，几乎都忘了是冬天！Bistopping 只有3种冰淇淋口味 - 牛奶，优格和巧克力。不过，好玩的地方是在把冰淇淋点缀起来！有许多甜筒饼干设计可选，和许多五颜六色的饼干和巧克力字可选。我点了牛奶口味，加上了 ‘Korea’ 巧克力字，仙人掌饼干，配上相同设计的甜筒饼干。没拍到几张，冰淇淋就开始融化了！

Took a stroll to Hongdae and walked around Hongdae (subway station Exit 9) area. It was getting so cold that the clothes that I brought weren’t warm enough, and I had to wear so many layers! Decided to pop by my favourite streetwear store in Hongdae and see if I could get anything. The sweatshirts and hoodies that are on sale here are really affordable. They do mainly clothing for guys, but some designs are quite unisex. They go as low as KRW5,900 per piece for thinner sweatshirts that are great for spring and autumn weather. For winter weather, there are thicker sweatshirts in cotton or cashmere material at lowest KRW9,900 per piece, still pretty affordable! Got a hoodie and a sweatshirt at KRW9,900 each, another sweatshirt with a better design at KRW17,900, as well as a beanie for KRW5,900. It has been getting so cold that my ears were getting all icy cold and numb! Lastly, bought Bonjuk takeout as tomorrow’s lunch, as I will be going out to Gapyeong tomorrow!
到了弘大区走走看看，走到了弘大站9号出口区。带来的衣服不够暖，结果需要穿好多层！所以决定到在这里我很爱逛的服饰店看看有什么适合的可以买。喜欢这家店的原因是他们的帽T，大学T，夹克，等，都很平价。大多数是男装，不过有些设计还是适合女生穿。比较薄的大学T，韩币5,900就买得到！适合春和秋天穿。现在是冬天，所以都卖厚的大学T，韩币9,900就能买到！买了件帽T和大学T，各韩币9,900。也买了件比较好看的大学T，这件是韩币17,900，还有个无檐帽 - 韩币5,900。天气真的是冷的不得了，耳朵都变得超冷超嘛！最后，到了 Bonjuk 买份外带 - 明天的午餐，要出外到 Gapyeong 玩！
