It is finally time for travelling again! I just came back from a 3-day trip to Johor Bahru with my friends. Back in Singapore to rest for a day before I proceed to spend a week in Bangkok. This is going to be my 2nd time flying to Bangkok. The first was 5yrs ago, and Bangkok has changed so much now! Did my research and the place now has so many beautifully-constructed places, malls and cafes, I wish I could just go to all of them! But as I am travelling alone and taking the public trains and busses, I have to be really selective and careful on the places to visit.
Before I get started, just like to address on two areas, dress code and public transport.
终于又是旅游时光！刚和朋友到新山短游三天，回新加坡休息一天后，便飞往曼谷游玩七天。这是我第二次到曼谷。第一次是在五年前，和现在相比，曼谷整得改了很多。在搜查该去的地方时，发现今日的曼谷有很多非常漂亮的地方，购物商场和咖啡厅。正希望能去所有的地方！可是因为单独旅游，而且将搭公共列车和巴士，所以有些地方还是不太方便。
开始之前，像分享两点 - 着装要求和公共交通。
1) Dress Code
Places like museums and worship places will require a dress code. This includes no shorts, no sleeveless shirts, skirts to be knee-length, and covered shoes only. Be sure to check if a dress code is required should you be visiting one of these more formal places.

博物馆和礼拜场所等地方都需要着装要求。这包括没有短裤，没有无袖衬衫，裙子必须到膝盖和穿包鞋。如果你想到类似地方，记得查询是否需要着装要求。
2) Public Transport
Bangkok's public transport includes the train (MRT), skytrain (BTS), bus, boat and taxi/Grab. I took all except for bus and taxi. I feel Grab is a lot more convenient and safe as compared to flagging down a taxi. You can always track where you are from the app and in case of emergency, there is a button on the app which links straight to the local police. Most drivers only speak Thai or very simple English, so they cannot really communicate with me. We communicate through the app which is automatically translated by Google, and they just drive me to the location based on the app, and I pay them in cash. If MRT/BTS is not an convenient option, I just go for Grab. It is not expensive in Bangkok. Most of my trips range between THB80 to THB200. Didn't try the public bus as everything is written in Thai.
2）公共交通
曼谷的公共交通包括捷运 (MRT)， 轻轨 (BTS)，巴士，船，德士／Grab。我全都搭了除了巴士和德士。我觉得 Grab 和德士相比比较方便和安全。你时时刻刻都能从 app 知道自己的所在地。如果需要急救，app 里有个按钮可直接链接本地警察。大多数的司机只说泰语或非常简单的英语，所以我们也很难与彼此沟通。我们通过 app 沟通，它会自己自动翻译。司机会根据 app 带我到所输入的地方，到了付现金就行了。如果想去的地方不方便搭 MRT/BTS，我就会搭 Grab。在曼谷不贵，多数都在泰铢 80 到 200 之间。没有尝试搭本地巴士因为全都是泰文。
Day 1: Arrived at Bangkok, Little Zoo Cafe, World's 2nd Largest Starbucks
Upon arrival at Bangkok via Suvarnabhumi Airport, I proceeded to check-in to my accommodation. This time I am staying at serviced apartment, Dheva Residences Suites. I had the most basic room, Deluxe Studio. Breakfast, WIFI, air-con, TV, mini bar, all included. It is at THB1,200/night, that is about SG$48/night. Not too bad.
After which, I will be proceeding to Invisible Coffee Room. They are popular for their coffee and unique drink combinations. Next will be Little Zoo Cafe, interacting with little animals. Followed by Central World, it is the world's 11th largest shopping mall, and in here I will be exploring the world's 2nd largest Starbucks store. Just right opposite the mall is the famous Erawan Shrine - four faced Buddha.
第 一天：抵达曼谷，动物乐园餐厅，世界第二大星巴克
抵达曼谷 Suvarnabhumi Airport 后，便入进住宿。这次选住服务式公寓，Dheva Residences Suites。我的是本店最基本的房间，Deluxe Studio。早餐，WI-FI，冷气，电视，基本食饮都包括在内。每晚是泰铢一千二，大概新币四十八，还算不错。
接着到 Invisible Coffee Room，著名于西式咖啡和特制饮料。接着是动物乐园餐厅，Little Zoo Cafe，在这里能和小动物们互动。然后是世界第十一大购物商城，Central World。在这里会到世界第二大星巴克。购物商城的对面就是著名四面佛，Erawan Shrine。最后到，享用晚餐。
Day 2: The Marvel Experience, Mega Bangna, Terminal 21
First destination for the day is the newly opened Marvel theme park in Bangkok, The Marvel Experience Thailand! It is located near to Mega Bangna Shopping Mall and IKEA Bangna. After the theme park, I will be heading to IKEA, and see what house items I can get and curious at what their bistro sells. After which will the mall. Within the mall is famous cafe chain, CODE Cafe of Dessert Enthusiasts, to try their popular lava toast.
Next is another shopping mall, Terminal 21. This is located very near to where I am staying. It is a travel themed mall with each storey representing a particular country and that whole storey is themed to the country.
第 二天：漫威主题乐园，Mega Bangna, 旅游主题购物商场
今天的第一站是曼谷新开的漫威主题乐园，The Marvel Experience Thailand！它靠近 Mega Bangna Shopping Mall 和 IKEA Bangna。主题乐园玩完后，便到宜家走走，也好奇他们的餐厅买什么，是不是和新加坡的一样？接着到购物商城内的一间著名连锁甜品店，CODE Cafe of Dessert Enthusiasts，试试它们非常有名的爆浆土司。
接着到另一个购物商城，Terminal 21。这间离我住宿非常近。这是个旅游肢体商场。每层楼都有各自的代表国家而每层楼都以各自的国家主题作为概念。
Day 3: Cafehopping Day, Unicorn Cafe, Next Level Boba Tea
Today's itinerary will be a series of cafes. I am starting off with Rocket Coffeebar S.12, famous for their coffee. Next will be Osaka Ohsho, a Japanese place, and Unicorn Cafe. Indulge myself in some edible and inedible pastel rainbows. Next up will be Heekcaa, famous for its cheese drinks, originated from Guangzhou. It is basically regular drinks topped with a layer of whipped cream cheese. Next will be Pink Planter Cafe. A subtle pink dessert cafe that sells some sweet-looking unique desserts and drinks. Next will be ATM Tea Bar, a next level boba tea store that sells special creations like Charcoal Tea Latte and Galaxy Lemon Tea. After which to After You Dessert Cafe, famous for their kakigori desserts. Last but not least, dinner at CNN Travel recommended authentic Thai Restaurant, Baan-Ajarn.
第三天：曼谷咖啡厅走透透，独角兽咖啡厅，不一样的泡泡茶
今天是一连串的咖啡厅，第一间咖啡厅是 Rocket Coffeebar S.12，不能错过他们的咖啡。接下来是 Osaka Ohsho，一间日本餐厅，和独角兽主题餐厅，Unicorn Cafe。把自己浸泡在可爱的粉彩虹色系。接着是 Heekcaa，著名于本店的乳酪体制饮料。然后是 Pink Planter Cafe，一间以可爱粉红为主的咖啡厅。接下来是 ATM Tea Bar，自认为售卖不一样的泡泡茶。本店的特制饮料包括黑炭拿铁和宇宙柠檬茶。然后到 After You Dessert Cafe，著名于本店的 kakigori 甜品 - 日式刨冰甜点。最后到 CNN Travel 推荐的 Baan-Ajarn，正宗泰式餐馆享用晚餐。
Day 4: Chatuchak, Pretty Food and Flaming Dessert
Starting the day off at the popular weekend market, Chatuchak. Next to the famous all-white European style dining place, Audrey Cafe and Bistro, that serves Thai and European fashion dishes. Next, getting our hands on one of medieval-themed Mocking Tales' fire-flaming dessert, Dragon Fire's Breath. Next, to cafe Shugaa, this place is great for all those aesthetic Instagram users; and lastly a cup of coffee at Toby's.
第四天：Chatuchak，漂亮食品，火喷甜品
今天的第一站是著名周末市场，Chatuchak。接下来是著名全白欧式风格，Audrey Cafe and Bistro，售卖泰式和欧式创新菜肴。接下来是到中世纪主题餐厅，Mocking Tales，试试它们的火喷甜品，Dragon Fire's Breath。接着到咖啡厅 Shugaa，喜欢拍充满艺术性的 Instagram 朋友们可以到这里。最后到 Toby's 享用杯热咖啡。
Day 5: The Commons, Chocolate Ville, JJ Green Night Market
First up starting with cozy cafe, Fill in the Blank. Followed by The Commons, Bangkok's hippest ground with a design of industrial architecture. Each floor has its own unique name - Market, Village, Play Yard and Top Yard. You can look for lots of interesting dining experiences and unique food choices. Over here, I will be trying out Roots Coffee Roaster's coffee and the lava salted egg pie, Holy Yolky from Holy Moly.
After which, I will be heading to Chocolate Ville and JJ Green Night Market. Chocolate Ville may looked like a little European village, but is is actually a restaurant on its own, with beautiful set-ups to take photos with. A restaurant style theme park that opens daily from 4pm.
第五天：The Commons, Chocolate Ville, JJ Green Night Market
第一目的地是咖啡厅，Fill in the Blank。接着是 The Commons，曼谷最时尚的商场，采用工业建筑设计。每层楼都有自己的独创名称 - Market，Village，Play Yard 和 Top Yard。在这里可以找到许多有趣的用餐体验和不一样的食物选择。我会试试 Roots Coffee Roaster 的咖啡和 Holy Moly 的爆浆咸蛋挞，Holy Yolky。
接下来是到 Chocolate Ville 和 JJ Green Night Market (夜市)。Chocolate Ville 看起来像是个小法国村，但它其实是个餐厅。这里有许多漂亮景色可以拍照留念，是个餐厅主题乐园，每日下午四点开始营业。
Day 6: On Lok Yun, The Grand Palace, Roast at The Commons
First of all, grabbing breakfast at popular traditional breakfast place, On Lok Yun, before I head to The Grand Palace. Yes, the place that I am staying at do have complimentary breakfast, but I have already been having it for 4 mornings, so I decided to try some traditional Thai breakfast. This is where it used to be the residential place for the King of Thailand from 1782 to 1925.
Next, I will be proceeding to Blue Whale Cafe, where they serve their specialty, butterfly pea flower tea, a classic blue drink in variations. After which back to the hotel for a quick shower as I was partially drenched in today's heavy rain! Spending the last night chilling at highly recommended Roast, The Commons.
第六天：On Lok Yun，曼谷大皇宫，Roast at The Commons
先是到著名早餐店，On Lok Yun 享用早餐。我的住宿的确是有供应早餐，不过同样的食物吃了四天，所以决定试试传统泰式早餐。早餐后，便到 The Grand Palace。这是泰国国王在 1782 到 1925 年之间居住的地方。
然后来到 Blue Whale Cafe。这里售卖一系列有蝴蝶豌豆花茶为主的蓝色饮料。接着先回住宿洗个澡。今天的一场大雨，全都淋湿了。最后到在 The Commons 强力推荐的 Roast 享受在曼谷的最后一晚。
Day 7: A Few More Cafe Wonders, Back to Singapore
Last day in Bangkok! Still a few more cafes to go... After check-out, I head over to Nikko Cafe, and Peace 和 Oriental Teahouse, a matcha themed cafe.
